| 1) When the family moved from Indiana to
Kansas, they took the train. They first made camp south of Virgil,
Greenwood Co, Kansas (per Jesse Ralph Boman).
They lived, at different times, in the areas of Keck, New Albany and
Independence, Kansas (per Charles Monroe Boman
obituary).
2) Wife of Raymon J Boman: Mabel Laura Crooks - born 27
Oct 1881 NE; died 22 Jan 1926 Virgil, Greenwood, KS; cause of death:
rectal cancer; buried Virgil Cemetery, Virgil, Greenwood, KS; see
tombstone photo below; daughter of Charles F Crooks
(1856-1936)
and Alice ____ (1858-1939); Charles and Alice buried Virgil Cemetery, Virgil, Greenwood, KS -
tombstone photo.
3) We have a copy of Raymon and Mabel's
marriage record.
4) We have a copy of
Raymon's will.
5) Raymon's cause of death: chronic glandular nephritis.
