6) Note: We have a legal document, dated 12 Sep 1882, from the Circuit Court in Daviess Co, IN.  Although specific details are not noted, plaintiffs William H Bowman, William Andis and Henry Andis won a judgment against Jacob Andis and Stirling Andis.  The "dispute" was over Daviess County land, which was divided amongst William Bowman (1/2), William Andis (1/4) and Henry Andis (1/4).  The four young Andis men are all brothers, and William Bowman is a cousin of theirs (all found on this website).
