1) Orlenia Andis:
   born c. 1844 IN; census record for Orlenia; 
   died probably by 1860 (can't find after 1850 census); married?; children?

Note: We now believe that Orlenia (born c. 1844 IN) was not James and Elizabeth's child. In 2013, we found the marriage record for James and Elizabeth, and given the fact that this marriage was not until 21 Jun 1849, we now feel she was not theirs. She is listed in the 1850 census as an Andis child, but we can only speculate that she was possibly an Andis relation of James, or of James from a prior marriage. James was 27 at the time of his marriage to Elizabeth, which certainly leaves time for another marriage before that. It is doubtful that she was Elizabeth's, as she was married to James as Elizabeth Miller. Orlenia was never tracked after the 1850 census. We believe she died c. 1850-1860. She was not found in the 1860 census.

2) W.A.C. Andis:
   born c. 1848 IN; census record for W A C;  
   died probably by 1860 (can't find after 1850 census); married?; children?

Note: We now believe that WAC (born c. 1848 IN) was not James and Elizabeth's child. In 2013, we found the marriage record for James and Elizabeth, and given the fact that this marriage was not until 21 Jun 1849, we now feel he was not theirs. He is listed in the 1850 census as an Andis child, but we can only speculate that he was possibly an Andis relation of James, or of James from a prior marriage. Note: We have a legal document, dated 12 Sep 1882, from the Circuit Court in Daviess Co, IN.  Although specific details are not noted, plaintiffs William H Bowman, William Andis and Henry Andis won a judgment against Jacob Andis and Stirling Andis.  The "dispute" was over Daviess County land, which was divided amongst William Bowman (1/2), William Andis (1/4) and Henry Andis (1/4).  The four young Andis men are all brothers, and William Bowman is a cousin of theirs (all found on this website).
