* Note: Reverend William M Cooper was a circuit riding preacher. He founded Admant Baptist Church and Pine Grove Church in the Stone Creek and Ely's Creek areas of Lee County. He was also known as a mountain doctor. He healed with herbs and poultices photo including William. This is William M Cooper's Bible. If you look carefully you can see the intials W M Cooper. The embossing has completely faded. This bible was given to his son George, who passed it to his daughter, Lillian Cooper Parsons, and to her daughter Charlotte Parsons Parks Cooper.
